ROI, shown honestly

What faster could be worth ILLUSTRATIVE

Every report includes before-vs-after charts and a simple ROI table. Below is the one from our sample report. The charts use example inputs, not a real store. They're an illustrative estimate, not a guarantee.

The research behind it. In Milliseconds Make Millions (Google, fifty-five and Deloitte Digital, 2020), a 0.1-second mobile speed improvement was associated with:
+8.4%retail conversions
+9.2%retail average order value
Based on 15 retail brands and 20.5 million mobile sessions over 4 weeks, with the improvement applied across four speed measures on every page. It's an observed correlation, not a guarantee, and it's for a 0.1-second gain, so we never scale it up for bigger speed gains. Sources: web.dev summary · Deloitte · full report (PDF).

1. Before vs after: speed (sample store, mobile)

Measured values are from our real Lighthouse test of Shopify's public Dawn demo store (not a customer). "After" subtracts Lighthouse's own estimated savings (LCP −0.3 s) and models the score with Lighthouse's published curves. It is not a re-measurement.

2. Example ROI calculator EXAMPLE INPUTS

Revenue = sessions × conversion rate × average order value. Sessions, conversion rate and order value below are placeholders. Use your own from Shopify analytics. We use only the conversion finding (not the +9.2% order-value finding) and assume only 25% / 50% / 100% of the study's 8.4% for the low / base / high cases. Those shares are our own conservative assumption.

Read this before relying on it. Illustrative estimate using example inputs, not a guarantee. It's an audit, so the fixes still have to be made (that time or cost isn't counted here), the study is retail data from 2019, correlation isn't causation, and your store, audience and starting speed are different. A store with smaller traffic or conversion would see proportionally smaller numbers. Think of it as a way to size the opportunity, not predict it. On these placeholder inputs the base case is about +$410 per month.

This is a real audit of the home page of Shopify's official public demo store for its free Dawn theme, run with the same script and format you'd get. It's a theme demo store, not a customer.

The sample is marked "SAMPLE AUDIT". The tested page (theme-dawn-demo.myshopify.com) is a public demo store run by Shopify; it wasn't commissioned and no brand is being assessed. All speed numbers are real lab measurements from the date shown in the report. The ROI figures in it are illustrative.

Optional add-on

Fix It For You OPTIONAL · $199 TO $599 PER STORE

The audit itself is report-only; fixes are an optional add-on. If you'd rather not make the changes yourself or hire a developer, we can apply the audit's top fixes for you. Everything is listed below so there are no surprises.

Price: $199 to $599 per store. Where you land in the range depends on the audit findings: how poor the scores are and how much work the fixes need.
The exact fixed price is quoted in writing after the audit and before any work starts. You pay only after you accept the written quote, using a payment link we send you by email.
Only available after you buy the $99 audit (or if you already have one of our reports). We apply the audit's top fixes where they apply to your store.

What's included

  • Compress, resize and convert oversized images to modern formats
  • Add lazy loading and fix how the hero / LCP image loads
  • Defer or remove unnecessary third-party scripts and leftover code from apps you no longer use
  • Trim and clean theme code, including unused CSS and JavaScript
  • Preload key fonts and assets
  • Fix layout-shift (CLS) causes, such as images missing width and height
  • Re-run the same audit afterwards and send you a before-and-after comparison

What's NOT included

  • Redesigns or new features
  • Building new pages
  • Content or copywriting
  • Purchasing paid apps
  • Uninstalling any app without your approval
  • Fixing slowness caused by your apps' own servers
  • SEO or advertising work
  • Ongoing maintenance
  • A guarantee of any specific speed score, or of any change in sales or revenue

What we need from you

  • Shopify staff or collaborator access. We send the access request, and you can remove it at any time
  • Your approval of the written quote
  • Your confirmation of which apps and scripts are safe to remove

How we work safely

  • We work on a duplicate (unpublished) copy of your theme and never edit your live theme directly.
  • We send you a preview link and a list of the changes.
  • We publish only after you approve.
  • Your original theme stays in place as a backup, so changes can be reverted.

Timeline: Typically 3-5 business days after you accept the quote and we have access. This is a typical time, not a guarantee.

Request Fix It For YouEmail elevate20llc@gmail.com with the subject “Fix It For You”. There's no payment link yet; we send one only after you accept the written quote.

Every quote includes up to 2 rounds of revisions to the changes we made (adjustments to our work, not new features or new work). Full details of scope and price are in the written quote. The $99 audit’s refund policy is unchanged.

Who it's for

A good fit if…

  • You run a standard Shopify store that feels slow, especially on phones.
  • You want an independent written list of what to fix before hiring a developer or adding another app.
  • You've seen a poor PageSpeed or Core Web Vitals score and want it explained in plain language.
What's not included

Be clear on the limits

  • Implementing the fixes, in the $99 audit. The audit itself is report-only: we don't access or change your store or theme. Fixes are an optional add-on (Fix It For You, $199 to $599 per store), or you can hand the PDF to your developer.
  • Real-visitor (field / CrUX) data, Search Console data, or checkout, cart and account pages.
  • Revenue, conversion or ranking guarantees. Projections are illustrative.
  • Headless or non-Shopify stores, multi-page crawls, ongoing monitoring, or a call.

Refund policy

Full refund within seven days if the audit doesn't match what was promised, no questions asked. After seven days, no refunds unless something is broken on our end. Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe.

Can you fix the issues for me?

Yes, as an optional add-on called Fix It For You, priced at $199 to $599 per store depending on the audit findings. The audit itself is report-only; fixes are an optional add-on. The exact fixed price is quoted in writing before any work starts, and you pay only after you accept it. See exactly what's included and what isn't, or email elevate20llc@gmail.com with the subject “Fix It For You”.

Do you need access to my store?

Not for the audit: it only loads your public page, like any visitor. Only if you choose the optional Fix It For You add-on do we need Shopify staff or collaborator access, and we send the access request, which you can remove at any time. Never send passwords.

Which page is tested?

One page URL you provide, usually the home page. If you enter just your store URL, the home page is tested.

Will fixing the items make my store sell more?

Faster pages generally help, and the research above found a link between mobile speed and conversions, but we don't promise any specific speed gain, ranking or revenue change. The ROI numbers in the report are illustrative estimates from example inputs.

What's the difference between lab data and field data?

Lab data is what this audit measures: one simulated page load in a controlled test (Lighthouse, the engine behind Google PageSpeed Insights) on a simulated mid-range phone with slow 4G, and on desktop. It's repeatable and good for finding specific problems, but it isn't what your real customers experienced. Field data (e.g. Chrome's CrUX report) comes from real visitors and is what Google uses for its Core Web Vitals assessment. This audit does not include field data. Because INP needs a real user interaction, we use Total Blocking Time (TBT) as the lab stand-in.

Who will see my store URL and email?

Only Elevate20 LLC and Stripe, the payment processor. Your details are used to run the audit, deliver the report and handle payment or refunds. We don't sell or share them.
